1. Guide to Passing the PSI REAL ESTATE EXAM 8th Edition by Lawrence Sager, published by Dearborn RE Education. This is published by the testing company and has sample test questions at the end of each chapter. (As does the blue book, too.) If you want only one extra book, this one is very good as the general exam is a much larger portion of the exam. $35.

2. Massachusetts REAL ESTATE Practice and Law, 10th Edition by Anita Hill. This is very thorough on MA practices and law. Though that portion of the exam is shorter and requires a lot of memorization, this book contains reproductions of MA real estate forms, and the laws you need to know so this is a good book to launch you into getting the info you need to become a good MA real estate agent from the get go. $35

3. Handbook for Real Estate Examinations and Practice (9th Edition) by Milton H. Shaw, published by Richard Harris. Michael refers to this frequently as the “blue book.” If you would like to order a copy in addition to the electronic copy that you receive on the first day of the class, it is $40

4. If you’d like ALL THREE books, it is $100. (Plus S&H if you need them mailed.)

More Recommended Study Resources:

1. GLOSSARY / VOCABULARY. The back of the blue book provided with your class has a glossary. You can also simply google “real estate terms” and you will land on some decent, free online options. Give a few a try — there are some that offer quizzes or flashcards.

2. The testing company offers an inexpensive (around $20) sample exam that will have questions similar to the real exam. You can take this sample test more than once. www.psiexams.com.

3. Some students tell us that the site called "The Night Before The Exam" has been useful in their test prep.  We are not endorsing it, just passing this along as I’ve heard it mentioned a few times.
